USDA TO CRACK DOWN ON “BIG LICK” PRESSURE SHOEING

Word has been delivered to the Celebration “Big Lickers” that this isn’t going to be your father’s Celebration.

Look for pads/packages to be randomly removed to inspect for pressure shoeing.

Trained spotters will be in the stands at the Celebration to provide real time information as to which horses to suspect for post show inspection.

  1. Its about time some those heavy shoes and chains came off those beautiful Tennessee Walking horses.. And thank you for sticking right there for the sake of the horses, and Thank you Rachel Cezar and Chester Gipson for being there… God Bless you all.

  2. A lot is riding on Chester and Rachel. It’s time for them to step up and get the job done in Celebration 2013. I think the wink and a nod has been given. We’re about to see.
