DID THE CELEBRATION “BEND” THE ENTRY DEADLINE RULES FOR 2013 CELEBRATION ENTRIES

SHELBYVILLE, TN – In the land where published deadlines are not really deadlines, and words don’t really mean what they actually say,
“Young Herr” Jeffrey Howard

Apparently, the Celebration has stepped up and “Hepped” some folks who apparently didn’t get their Celebration entries in on time. Well “On Time” as far as what the Celebration Official Entry Form says:
ENTRY FORM – TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE NATIONAL CELEBRATION
OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM

OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM

The Celebration earlier reported that entries were down approximately 23% from 2012 to 2013. With the Celebration adding entries after the published deadline, the decrease is now about 20%. From 2009 to 2013, the entries have decreased by approximately 40%.

“Young Herr” apparently thinks, rather than the SORING PERCEPTION, the problems are due to the uncertainty in the TWH Racket, and economic issues. “Young Herr” appears to be in a continued State of Denial, while “Herr” Howard continues to milk his CashCow.

Word on the street is that the natives in Shelbyville are getting restless.

  1. My theory: After the number of entries was published, people were ‘encouraged’ to enter their horses with no intention of actually showing them…. OR people are being encouraged to enter their horses and show them as ‘filler’ so that enough horses will be in the ring for the class to ‘make’.
