PLAINTIFF NATHAN JACKSON
NATHAN JACKON - OWNER OF CHAMPAGNE WATCHOUT

In his suit, he alleges that Celebration Director David Howard “contacted individuals to go into the class (World Grand Championship) for free.”

“HERR” DAVID L. HOWARD

"I'LL BE HONEST WITH YOU - WE'LL NEVER GET THERE" - CHATTANOOGA FEDERAL COURTHOUSE STEPS - JACKIE MCCONNELL GUILTY PLEA - MAY 22, 2012

“I’LL BE HONEST WITH YOU – WE’LL NEVER GET THERE” – CHATTANOOGA FEDERAL COURTHOUSE STEPS – JACKIE MCCONNELL GUILTY PLEA – MAY 22, 2012

Jackson alleged that Trainers “Chad Baucom, Knox Blackburn, Steve Dunn, Jimmy Smith Family, Tim Smith, John Allan Callaway, Winky Groover, Charlie Green, Brandon Stout and Jimmy Norris” were “allowed to enter the class without paying entry fees“.

Jackson asked for the following Relief:

“1.) Find the Defendant guilty on all counts.
2.) Re-tie the class, meaning eliminate all entries that did not pay to play.
3.) Order defendants to change the records showing that our entry was first place or tied with the other paying customer. Change the record book and publicize the change to the public.
4.) Award Plaintiffs monetary compensatory damages in the amount of $100,000.00 and punitive damages of $10,000,000.00.
5.) Pay all reasonable attorney fee and court costs.”

Jackson also filed Motion For Appointment of Attorney, and a Motion To Proceed in Pauperis.

Additionally, Jackson’s wife, Jennie, and daughter, Natalie, each filed separate Complaints against the same Defendants which mirror the Jackson’s Complaint.

Note: A lawsuit is one side of a legal argument and the things that are alleged in it may or may not be true.

  1. Filling the class with nonpaying exhibitors just to deny another exhibitor any ribbon at all is pretty low. Of course, the Celebration should have also asked themselves why the heck is the Champ class so empty??!!

  2. it wern’t no black/white thing as his filing would imply. It’s a pure and simple “We don’t want that flat shod (with a little pad) mustard horse placing at the Celebration Stake class”. It would be a detriment to the pads and chains ladies and gentlemen! White man’s puttin the brother down is not what was done! padded boys shut the mustard horse down, did not matter if a chinese woman trained him and a japanes girl rode him in!

  3. Oh Judge, Oh Judge, last year I had $5200.00 to run with the big dogs and enter my horse in the World Grand Championship but now since I didn’t get a ribbon I’m broke and I want the taxpayers to pay for my silly lawsuit. Am I the only one who sees the stupidity here?
