SHELBYVILLE, TN – On a hot humid night, a Friday night crowd of about 8,000 – 9,000 showed up. Compared to 2012, according to long time observers, the 2013 Celebration is about 60% of the attendance of last year.

One fellow has been at the Celebration every year since 1964, and he didn’t miss this year, either. Larry Joe Wheelon – Maryville, Tennessee

  1. How can you describe ANY calss filled with those abused crawling FREAKS a “good” class BGB?

The Walking Horse show world NEEDS to be cleaned up, and THAT means NO MORE chains and stacks of pads anywhere, anytime.

More than 50 years of accepted ABUSE is 50 years too MANY!

  2. That’s odd. I thought Jimmie managed to pick up an infraction or two early on. Wouldn’t that have finished him for the show?

  3. BGB,

How can you describe ANY ride on a big lick horse as “good,” i.e.,
    “Lee McGartland made a good ride on A Bruce Pearl . . . .”?
