In an amusing act of desperation, the “Big Lick” interests represented by David L. Howard
Chairman of the Celebration and Proprietor of The Walking Horse Report and son Jeffrey
who is the spokesperson for PSHA (Performance Show Horse Association) are desperately http://www.walkinghorsereport.com/news.aspx?cid=10334 trying to spin the devastating HR 1518 Poll Results to the sore “Big Lick” interests by saying:
Here is a summary of the “Little Response”:
Here is what is really bothering the “Big Licker” Howard interests. They were aghast to learn on September 20, 2013, that approximately 7,000 TWHBEA members were holding the future of the Tennessee Walking Horse in their hands. And David L. Howard who has always marveled and excelled in controlling everything suddenly had something he truly could not control.
Son Jeffery was quoted, “They’ll never count those votes”.
And Jeffrey Howard was “almost” right. Certainly it was the “Big Licker” Plan to stop it, and a strong effort was made by the “Big Licker” team of Executive Committee, Enforcement Committee, Performance Horse Committee members amalgamation of Lloyd Black (now resigned), Christy Lantis, Mike Hicks, Rob Cornelius, David Mullis (HPA Citation pending) and Wayne Dean (HPA Cititatio pending) all directed by TWHBEA Director David L. Howard operative Tom Kakassy to so just that.
The “lynching” of Pat Stout that these “Big Lick” interests had planned was set for the TWHBEA Executive Meeting on September 27, 2013. Pat Stout stood her ground, and answered every question. So the lynching failed, so then the Licekers did a “Hurry Up” on a “fatally flawed” Motion investigate Pat Stout and to have the Enforcement Committee chaired by Denise Bader Keyser to do a kangaroo court investigation, with no written Complaint or $250.00 filing fee as the rules call for, being filed The Enforcement Committee mee was suddenly called off when the plot was publicly exposed and the “real” media alerted.
So all the Lickers could do was wait for October 15 hoping not many TWHBEA members would vote. The Lickers even put former President Black up to sending out an Email to all approximately 7,000 eligible TWHBEA members and told them to “throw it away”.
The problem is 26%, not only didn’t throw it away, but they voted and by a landslide margin the TWHBEA members endorsed HR 1518/S. 1406 by 63% to 37%.
So October 15 came, and the VOTES WERE COUNTED, and the TWHBEA members overwhelmingly endorsed the HR 1518/S. 1406 PAST Act.
So now the “Big Lick” bunch are trying to attack the HR 1518/S.1406 Poll:
* They are picking on Pat Stout, a lady who had the courage to ask the members to vote.
* They are saying 26% is “Little Response” which is a bald faced lie – which is like Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels
who operated on the theory if you tell a lie enough times, people will eventually believe it. Jeffrey Howard is the son of “Herr” Howard and it’s interesting to take note of Goebbels – “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Jeffrey really tells a whopper when he says http://www.walkinghorsereport.com/news.aspx?cid=10334 “In addition to the bias, the results are also skewed by the statement issued by TWHBEA President Loyd Hall Black, Jr. “This mailer was not sent out by TWHBEA or paid for by TWHBEA. In fact, TWHBEA makes no request or requirement that you answer this mailer or do anything whatsoever with the mailer, and you can certainly throw it away if you want,” said Black. These statements by Black could also factor in the low response to the poll”.
Now Jeffrey, seriously you cannot have it both ways – if the tool of the “Big Lick” interests Loyd Black was directed by you and Herr to write a piece trying to get TWHBEA voters to throw their Ballot away – which 26% obviously did not – then you can’t low rate the Poll due to “low response”. But the Joseph Goebbel’s lie you are telling Jeffrey is that the response was “low”.
Sorry, Jeffrey, the TWHBEA members response was off the charts and told you and Herr the truth that you did not want to hear – an overwhelming majority of TWHBEA members want the pads and chains gone.
Jeffrey, it’s not the end of the world. You can milk Cash Cow Cha Ching
just as well with this
as you can with this
Here is the truth:
A 26% turnout by eligible TWHBEA members for the HR 1518/S.1406 Poll is tremendous.
Compare the turnout for TWHBEA Directors elections with the HR 1518/S. 1406 Poll:
2010 TWHBEA DIRECTORS ELECTION – 25.34% TURNOUT
* The HR 1518/S 1406 is biased. To prove that the Howard bunch draws upon the expertise of a bought and paid by PSHA for slick Washington, DC “K” Street guy who doesn’t which end of the horse the oats go in.
His name is Brian Gottlieb
Here is Brian’s “independent” “expert” opinion:
“It is my professional opinion that this mailer is a flawed polling instrument and will not produce reliable and replicable results,“ said Brian Gottlieb, Managing Director of Purple Insights. “The mailer does not accurately describe the PAST Act and includes a biasing statement in its description of the Act,
as well as imagery that could bias responses. In biasing the description towards supporting the legislation, we would expect the mailer to overestimate the support for the PAST Act and under represent the opposition to the Act within the TWHBEA membership, said Gottlieb.” WHOA Barry, the ballot was sent to horse people, members of the breed registry, and these folks do know a little about horses.
Gottlieb concluded, “Additionally the mailer contains a picture of beautiful horses with the statement “Urgent! Your Vote is Needed!” It implies that your vote will help the horses, again biasing the poll, which by definition needs to remain natural and unbiased to measure an accurate result.
This bias alone is enough to discredit the validity of this “poll.” Apparently city slicker Barry Gottlieb might ought to take a look at this:
Mr. Gottlieb, seriously you need to have a “light mixture”put on your ankles, then wrap you up in cellophane, then put some leg wraps on, and secure them with duct tape, and then put you in the stall and come back the next morning and shock you with a cattle prod when you are laying on the stall floor and can’t be up because you are hurting so bad. Then you might want somebody to vote for you, too. Barry, since you are a non-horseperson, you might have a point if the TWHBEA members were also non-horse people. Barry, the deal is that TWHBEA members are
horse people and they are finally ready to clean up the mess and move on to higher ground and leave the soring and abuse behind.
Barry, what you have a problem understanding is that the horses suffering abuse like you see in the video can’t vote for themselves.
And the idea was for the people to vote for them – which they did – in overwhelming numbers.
Barry, you can rest assured the votes of the TWHBEA members did “help the horses”.
Nephew Eugene and Mortimer were talking about Mr. Gottlieb’s opinion of the HR 1518 Poll, and it was Nephew Eugene’s opinion that the only thing Mr. Gottlieb could really find fault with is that he didn’t think of the Poll idea himself.
