A WINDOW INTO THE LAND OF STEVE SMITH “SORE WORLD” ON NORTH ELLINGTON PARKWAY – LEWISBURG, TENNESSEE – A BREED ASSOCIATION CONTROLLED BY HPA VIOLATORS AND RUN FOR HPA VIOLATORS – “ALL IS WELL”

LEWISBURG, TN – Montana TWHBEA Director Rick Wies had an email exchange with TWHBEA President Steve “ur” Smith this past week.

RICK WIES AND MARY HART

Mr.Wies presented a proposal at the Annual TWHBEA Directors meeting that the breed association utilize technology so that members could see how its business was being conducted by the Executive Committee.    President Steve Smith gave his word to Mr. Wies that the matter would be placed on the agenda for the January 17, 2014 Executive Committee meeting.  Then President Steve Smith had an apparent “memory lapse”,  and the item was not placed on the Agenda as Smith promised.

Mr. Wies was also a little taken back that as a Director of TWHBEA , that he and others llearned of TWHBEA being sued in federal court in California by news media, rather than being notified of the action by,  who else,  TWHBEA.

TWHBEA President Mr. Smith, EC and BOD,

I hope all had the opportunity to watch the USDA “Go to Meeting”
technology web cast presentation by Veterinarian Dr. Turner on thermography
and radiography. It was excellent and informative. Also, I hope you were
able to see how well “Go to Meeting” works. I am hopeful that the EC made
the decision to include the BOD (in all geographical locations) in future EC
meetings via this service. Mr. President did indicate it would be on the
January agenda. I see several members and media were personally in
attendance.

I now turn my attention to two items. Accountability and Transparency.

In December there was a lot of talk about transparency. This BOD received
nothing concerning a lawsuit being filed against TWHBEA, but within hours it
was reported by several media outlets. A lawsuit is a pretty big deal and
it would seem that this BOD would hear about it via TWHBEA and not some
other source.

I understand there was a legal committee formed and that might be necessary.
As a clarification, does this mean that this committee will have/take full
accountability on the decision making and the expenditures of legal issues?
I know there is nothing in the budget for this type of expenditure and with
Ms. Lantis being VP admin/fiscal this would seem to be a “conflict of
interest” to recommend a revision to the budget for this purpose.

Finally, I would like to address Mr. Butch from Texas and his attitude that
those who do not agree with him should leave TWHBEA. Mr. Butch my TWHBEA
membership number is 1383 and I have been a member since April 1978, I do
not know how many current members still exist with any more duration, but I
am guessing not too  many. So….. you see I have more than earned the right to express
my thoughts as to the direction that I feel TWHBEA should pursue.
Just as you do.

A cloud of darkness and oppression led by TWHBEA President Steve Smith has settled over the TWHBEA building in Lewisburg, Tennessee.    In short order,   Steve Smith has thrown the breed association into chaos due to his disdain for the corporate rules and procedures while issuing policy statements on donut consumption.

DONUT01

In the rest of the world,  the American people are lining up in favor of the PAST Act to take away the pads and chains and do what TWHBEA organization should have done long ago  – freed itself from the stigma and reality that Steve Smith and his Big Lick friends enjoy  sore horses.

The TWHBEA membership voted landslide 63% “YES” in October 2013 in favor of the PAST Act  to take away the pads and chains, to eliminate the corrupt HIO system and make horse soring a federal felony.

It was prophetic that Midnight Sun left the TWHBEA grounds a year ago, and his likeness

is not there to give any credibility to the despotic manner in which Steve Smith,  Lamar Alexander’s Campaign Finance Chairman,  and his sore oriented cohorts are arrogantly oppressing the 7,600 members of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association.
Steve’s sore Big Lick crowd’s only problem is that the whole world is watching what they are doing in real time and taking note.
There have been, and will be,   consequences.
