CELEBRATION SPRING FLING “BELLY FLOPS” – DAVID L. HOWARD RUNNING OUT OF “BRIGHT” IDEAS – SHELBYVILLE VOTES 84% LANDSLIDE TO SUPPORT TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE ONCE PAST ACT BECOMES LAW

SHELBYVILLE, TN – Celebration Chairman  David L. Howard’s planned event to rally up the sore Big Lickers,  by all accounts,  has flopped.

There were about 300 persons in attendance last night at the Colt Preview.   The event was late getting started.   The USDA had a presence.   The crowd mood was somber. There was nothing to party about or celebrate.

David L. Howard‘s script was the Representative Blackburn alternative bill would be introduced to save his sore Big Lick Kingdom, and then the people would pour in and support the renewed push to save the pads and chains which are essential to the soring necessary to have a sore Big Lick show racket.

It didn’t happen.

David L. Howard‘s and Steve Smith‘s wagons have been circled so many times in Shelbyville that last few days that they are getting vertigo.  Meanwhile TWHBEA Sr. VP Walt Chism is handling “International Relations” on behalf of the breed registry.

The Celebration Horse Sale took place today and it was even less successful than the Flop last night.  There was a combination of a few padded horses,  some flatters, brood mares and yearlings.  They didn’t bring much.

This event was on top of the Delta Equine Select Sale in Tunica, Mississippi which also failed.  It is owned by Steve Smith’s barn renter David Landrum who is current WHTA VP, and served a 2 year federal suspension for horse soring.

You can’t have a sale if there are no buyers.

And the product – the sore Big Lick – is not marketable.

Interestingly,  the Shelbyville NOW publication announced the results of its Poll Question:

Our Latest Poll Results:

If the PAST ACT becomes law will you support the Tennessee Walking Horse?

1165 Votes

84.3%   YES           (982)
11.2%   NO              (131)
4.5%       NOT SURE     (52)

The community of Shelbyville is ready to turn the page on the sore Big Lick and embrace the future.   Something the community can ‘CELEBRATE’, rather than be ashamed and smeared with the stigma and reality of soring.

It’s time for David L. Howard and Steve Smith to come to the light and stop trying to hold the Tennessee Walking Horse breed hostage by their irrational support of the sore Big Lick and their egomaniacal approach to control and profit which results in the ruination of a horse that has unlimited potential  … once the pads and chains are gone.

The PAST ACT is going to become law.

P.S.

They also need to get and keep Sr. VP Walt Chism off the internet.
