JACKIE MCCONNELL’S MEA CULPA FOR CRUELTY TO HORSES – APOLOGIZES FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT TO HIS FAMILY AND HARM DONE TO THE HORSES

COLLIERVILLE, TN – In an interview conducted by U.S.D.A. Office of Inspector General Agent Julie McMillian, former horse trainer Jackie McConnell answered the agent’s  questions which was required by his federal court sentencing agreement.  In the video,   McConnell apologized to his family and the horses for his actions.

McConnell was given 3 years probation and a $75,000.00 fine and three years  for violation of the Horse Protection Act by Judge Mattice in September 2012, and one year house arrest and $25,000.00 fine by Tennessee Circuit Judge Weber McGraw in June 2013 for aggravated cruelty to animals.
