LEWISBURG, TN – Why don’t TWHBEA Officials Steve Smith and Walt Chism, and their gang of majority Horse Protection Act Citation History Executive Committee members, want the rest of the United States to see the sore Big Lick they defend and want to perpetuate?
It is interesting to see Equestrian Cat Dye ride this keg shod natural gaited Tennessee Walking Horse with rubber bell boot. Please note its similarity to the “New” TWHBEA merchandise which tries to hide the cancerous sore Big Lick from the public.
See anything similar?
Seriously, who do David L. Howard and Steve Smith think they are fooling?
Other than Representative Marsha “Face Of Animal Abuse In Tennessee” Blackburn, and U. S. Senator Lamar “I Am Old And Out Of Touch” Alexander.
Follow the money on both of these public servants.

Here is the SYMBOL of the sore Big Lick.
Please notice the “elevation”. It’s where the sore Big Lick horse is “set down” by soring. He sets up like this because his front feet are sore, and there is a 12-15 lb built up stack/shoe on each front foot. He has a chain hitting his “sensitized” front feet along with the jolting concussion of the weighted “stack/package/shoe” hitting the surface with each step.
The Horse is throwing his front feet because he is “scared” when that chain hits the sore skin on his front feet, that it is going to hurt him. And it does. Or he’s already hurting from the pressure against the sensitive bottom of his feet which will also cause him to fling his front feet.
When TWHBEA goes on the road to EXPOs around the country, and parents bring their children to see Horses, TWHBEA hides the sore Big Lick from public view. Executive Director Tracy Boyd has changed the TWHBEA merchandise, T shirts and Sweat Shirts, from showing the elevated sore Big Lick to a completely different level non-sore natural look like Cat Dye trains.
To show you how the sore Big Lick image is admired, look no further than 2013 World Grand Champion, “I AM JOSE” here doing the “Way High” bad image just a month ago at the Trainers Show at the Celebration’s Calsonic Arena. This sore Big Lick crowd, what few of them were there, loved it. Put those photos up at the Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio and see what kind of reaction the public has. TWHBEA BOOTH – “EQUINE AFFAIRE” – COLUMBUS, OHIO
The publisher of Shelbyville NOW, the esteemed David Thomas, was in attendance at “Equine Affaires”. Here is what he wrote:
“The Equine Affaire in Columbus, OH was held April 10-13 and was in attendance by over 100,000 horse enthusiasts. I had the opportunity to witness this event first hand and can tell you that the crowd had a huge Walking Horse presence. Of the 100,000 people in attendance I would estimate that 1/3 were Walking Horse or Gaited Horse owners. These facts are very significant since the Equine Affaire is one of the largest Equestrian events in the United States.
The good news is, the Tennessee Walking Horse isn’t going anywhere.
The question is, will we as the Walking Horse Capital of the World, embrace this enthusiasm and open the door to the entire breed.”
At the moment, we are on an island. Its time to change that!
The island Mr. Thomas refers to is depicted by this Map.
These two guys are leading the Tennessee Walking Horse breed over a cliff.
Midnight Sun is glad he’s not around for their foolishness. Tracy Boyd probably wishes he wasn’t, either. He sure isn’t going to take those sore Big Lick T shirts to “Equine Affaire”.
