At last year’s Celebration, Boyce’s office had a presence at the Celebration where the cruelty to animals was being checked for by S.H.O.W. HIO inspectors and the Veterinary Medical Officers with the USDA.  These cruisers are located at the path going into the Inspection Area.    Despite numerous instances of Horses being found sore and abused in violation of the Horse Protection Act,  Sheriff Boyce did nothing to enforce the Tennessee Animal Cruelty statutes.

No cases were brought.
