COLUMBIA, TN – The sore Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation wrote a letter Thursday to U. S. Senator Lamar #OUTOFTOUCHALEXANDER lauding the beauty of the Tennessee Walking Horse, and thanking the Senator for sponsoring an alternative bill to the PAST ACT. #PASSTHEPASTACT
The Tennessee Farm Bureau letter said:
- “The Tennessee Walking Horse is symbolic for our state”.
- “We are proud of the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry”.
The term “Industry” is what the sore Big Lick Racket calls itself.
Below are some of the disgraceful symbols now associated with the Tennessee Walking Horse world wide. According to venerated Tennessean W. W. “Bill” Harlin, owner of Harlinsdale Farm, “Tennesee is getting a reputation as a horse abuse state”.
LISTEN TO JACKIE MCCONNELL’S APOLOGY TO ALL THE HORSES HE “TRAINED”
Here is Jim Cortner, Owner of the above Colt pictured at the Nov. 13, 2013 Congressional Hearing sitting next to Trainer BOYZ President Mickey McCormick:
The Tennessean newspaper said that Alexander’s measure was a BILL TO ENABLE SORING. “The Blackburn and Alexander bills, clinging to a sad past, perversely proclaim that they are preserving the Tennessee Walking Horse breed. The Whitfield-Ayotte bills, supported also by major veterinary organizations, represent the future, where brutality toward animals is not tolerated for any reason. We believe the great majority of Tennesseans support that future, and Rep. Blackburn and Sen. Alexander should accept it as the will of the people and drop their opposition to the PAST act.”
Shame on the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation.
Shame on its President Lacy Upchurch.
In the words of attorney Joseph Nye Welch to the reckless and cruel Senator Joseph McCarthy,
“Have you no sense of decency, sir?”
If Mr. Upchurch knew anything at all about what he was writing, he would already realize that the last thing the sore Big Lick folks like David L. Howard and Steve Smith want is an Objective Science Based Testing Process. They are already getting it from Dr. Tracy Turner, and they are screaming “Bloody Murder” about it.
