WASHINGTON, DC – Eighty year old (80) U. S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) today co-sponsored soon to be 74 year old Senator Alexander’s Senate alternative to the PAST ACT. Hatch is the first Senator to co-sponsor Alexander’s Bill in six weeks.
Another octogenarian Sid Baucom Utah attorney is credited with personally persuading Senator Hatch to agree to co-sponsor Alexander’s Bill.
Sid Baucom is a confirmed Big Licker.
He served as By-Laws Vice President of TWHBEA, and in 2007 said he the following, “This is really a serious problem. We have these groups with divergent views. Even with divergent views within the groups. No one has been willing to compromise. We are talking about the industry. We are talking about the horse. If we don’t get this solved, we are going to lose the performance horse. The economic backbone of this industry,” stressed Baucom.
Senator Alexander is running for his last term.
Sid Baucom has seen his day.
These young people deserve to enjoy a natural sound Tennessee Walking Horse that is not crippled by soring, or decided by a group of “Out Of Touch” grumpy old men.
Some things just shouldn’t be so complicated.
