MINNESOTA CONGRESSMAN COLLIN PETERSON (D-MN) BECOMES #282* TO CO-SPONSOR PAST ACT 65% OF U. S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NOW ON BOARD TO REMOVE THE PADS AND CHAINS AND END THE SORE BIG LICK

WASHINGTON, DC  ““  Representative Collin Peterson (D-MN)  today co-sponsored the  PAST ACT  (Prevent All Soring Tactics Act).

Peterson is the ranking Democrat on the House Agriculture Committee.

Raised on a farm, Peterson is not a man easily deterred or easily persuaded.    He ran for Congress four times before being elected in 1991. He was one of the seven founders of the Blue Dog Coalition of conservative Democrats.

Congressman Peterson is the Dean of the Minnesota Congressional delegation, and is not an “easy sale” on co-sponsoring legislation.  His co-sponsoring the PAST ACT is significant.

REPRESENTATIVE COLLIN PETERSON (D-MN)

Peterson becomes the  282nd   Representative of  435  Congressmen to co-sponsor the measure which is    65%   of the United States House of Representatives.

The  PAST ACT  will remove the pads and chains, eliminate the corrupt HIOs and make horse soring a federal felony.

America  is solidly behind the  PAST ACT.

Nephew  Eugene thinks Representative Peterson is a BIG add.

* For certain purposes, the total number of Congressman could be argued as #283 due to Congressman Bill Young (R-FL) having co-sponsored the PAST ACT prior to his death, and now his successor Congressman David Jolly (R-FL) has also co-sponsored the PAST ACT.
