SHELBYVILLE, TN – The Walking Horse Trainer BOYZ moved to a new home this week in Shelbyville. They are now on the second floor sharing space with a heating/cooling contractor, and a chiropractor’s spinal decompression center.

It’s a big come down for the BOYZ – from owning their own building, and not being able to make the payments and losing it, and now moving upstairs over the chiropractor’s office.

A fellow who’s been in it for decades said this week, “I’ve never heard so little interest. Nobody cares anything about anything. There’s no excitement. Nothing positive.”
Meanwhile, the “Celebration Association” and TWHBEA have put the same people back in charge.
They must be expecting different results from the same folks who have led the Tennessee Walking Horse breed off into the abyss. Nephew Eugene hears the “Celebration Association” has a large number of members who are under the thumbs of David L. Howard and John T. Bobo.
Unless the Shelbyville citizens revolt and demand change, there will be none.

The people who have a death grip on the Tennessee Walking Horse breed have no intention of turning it loose.
It’s a shame that HSUS CEO Mr. Wayne Pacelle and Congressman Ed Whitfield (R-KY) were found wanting when the PAST ACT victory was in sight.
Neither one of them went “All Out” to protect “The Horses”.
Each put other priorities ahead of protecting “The Horses”:
- Congressman Ed Whitfield – caved in to save his career,
- Mr. Wayne Pacelle – chose to protect HSUS ability to “raise funds” rather than go “all out” for “The Horses”.

Nephew Eugene says the Tennessee Walking Horses deserve a lot better than this.
