“PREVIEW” – JACKSON THURSDAY NIGHT – USDA GRADE “D-” – WAY TOO MANY DEEP HORSES – COMMUNITY DESERTS HORSE SHOW – LESS THAN 200 PEOPLE IN STANDS

JACKSON, MS –  Entries were light, but horses were way too deep.

The Jackson Community has obviously deserted the Horse Show.

THURSDAY NIGHT AT JACKSON - THE PUBLIC HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.

THURSDAY NIGHT AT JACKSON – THE PUBLIC HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.

USDA APHIS Deputy Administrator Dr. Chester Gipson was present overseeing inspection.

DR. CHESTER GIPSON, DVM - BLOWS HOT AND COLD ON ENFORCING THE HORSE PROTECTION ACT

DR. CHESTER GIPSON, DVM – BLOWS HOT AND COLD ON ENFORCING THE HORSE PROTECTION ACT

Apparently, the USDA didn’t hear the over 4,705 people who asked them to strongly enforce the Horse Protection Act.

They simply didn’t.

And local authorities would not allow the media anywhere near the inspection area.

So much for transparency.

In general,  Thursday  was a sloppily run horse show.

Many delayed gate calls.

Best described as a “Big Lick” Family reunion.

The “SORE” Horse addicts got their “FIX”.

And “The Horses” got their “FIX”.

More in depth to come.

  1. This is insanity. What do these people have to know to stop abusing horses when people do not want to see it? Shame on them
