WHAT WOULD MR. S. W. BEECH HAVE DONE???

BELFAST, TN – If Mr. S. W. Beech was alive today,  he would have never limited the future potential of the Tennessee Walking Horse breed like Mr. Steve Smith and Mr. Walt Chism have done.

Smith and Chism have embraced and championed the Big Lick “Animal Cruelty”, and in so doing.  WHOA is now the recognized Spokesperson and Representative of the Tennessee Walking Horse breed to the rest of the world.   And for the record, WHOA was started because some folks thought S. W. Beech had become too powerful.

TENNESSEANFRONTPAGE

In his heyday, Mr. Beech was the “Commissioner” (some say Godfather”) of the Tennessee Walking Horse business.   He owned a breeding operation which featured the Merry Go Boy,  and later Ebony Masterpiece.  His quiet spoken word was law among the Trainer BOYZ.  Back then,  the Celebration was a place at which people annually gathered planned their vacations to come enjoy Tennessee Walking Horses.  Horses were stalled on the grounds, people watched them work in the morning.

All that’s gone now with the American People firmly lined up against the Animal Cruelty of the Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse.

The American People,  including the citizens of Tennessee and surrounding states, have now taken matters into their own hands and in 27 days are going to force the Celebration and consequently the Tennessee Walking Horse breed,  to change course, like it or not.

“S.W.” would have changed course long before this,  and faced the future knowing the Animal Cruelty of the Big Lick was unsustainable.

Mr. Beech would have called in the trainers and told “the BOYZ” that they were changing course for the future of their families and the next generation who wanted to make a living with horses.

And he would have never allowed the show business to be controlled by this fellow:

"I'LL BE HONEST WITH YOU - WE'LL NEVER GET THERE" - CHATTANOOGA FEDERAL COURTHOUSE STEPS - JACKIE MCCONNELL GUILTY PLEA - MAY 22, 2012

Yep, Mr. S. W. would have never let things get to the point where there is no future.

Tonight,  the show arena at Belfast, Tennessee would be featuring natural flat shod Tennessee Walking Horses,  rather than futile trying to resurrect the  Big Lick,  which the public will no longer tolerate.

WHOA INTERNATIONAL – THURSDAY – JULY 30, 2015

Nephew Eugene says,  Mr. S. W. would have changed course long before things have reached this point.
