LEWISBURG, TN – An organization whose tap root is Animal Cruelty is destined to fail.
And, make no doubt about it, TWHBEA is presently failing.
The members are gone.
The Voice Magazine is gone.
And Midnight Sun is long gone.
Yet, the Big Lick, Big Lies continue one after another.
On TWHBEA’s website is the following BIG LIE:
“The TWHBEA International Board is 100% united in its goal of eliminating abuse and cruelty to any horse regardless of its breed.”
The American Horse Council didn’t kick TWHBEA out because it wasn’t try to eliminate abuse and cruelty in another breed. TWHBEA got drop kicked because it was championing the institutionalized Animal Cruelty of the Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse that this guy is supposed to figure out how to spin at the 2015 Celebration.
Since TWHBEA is the staunch supporter of the “Big Lick” Tennessee Walking Horse, the effort at “eliminating abuse and cruelty” might as well start with the Tennessee Walking Horse breed.
Mr. Steve Smith and Mr. Walt Chism probably think the world is not looking at TWHBEA trying to resurrect the “Mecca” of Big Lick shows – the Belfast Lions Club –
“BELFAST BOX SEATS
Once again the Belfast Horse Show will be held on Jul 31, 2015 with the exciting horses from every performance division of the Tennessee Walking Horse being exhibited. This year the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association has taken the reins; with the Belfast Lions club running the concessions, and is planning an old-fashioned “walk off.” Come see the hot contenders for not only the upcoming Celebration World Championships, but for the TWHBEA National Futurity competing in this summer classic.
Box seats are now on sale. As in the past, the Box seat charge is for your place on the rail; boxes are $50, entry $5 per adult.
Please reserve your box by July 10, 2015 by returning the form with your check, or by calling TWHBEA at (931)359-1574. Please ask for Diane White or Kristen Corbin.”
TWHBEA President Steve Smith apparently has fond memories of Belfast days gone by. It was at Belfast that Mr. Smith received a Horse Protection Act Violation Citation for Animal Cruelty to a Tennessee Walking Horse.
Mr. Smith was slated to ride a SORE horse that night at Belfast trained by 2015 Celebration Judge David Landrum.

Yet, TWHBEA is like the leopard trying to change its spots.
Here is a recent TWHBEA offering of “THREE HORSES” by artist Mr. Bob Gray.
Funny, last Fall, here were TWHBEA’s “THREE HORSES” at Asheville, NC:
Really, who do they think they are fooling???
Nephew Eugene says this about says it all:
It’s only 54 days away.
