The Citizens Protest Application requested the Protest be held in front of the Cope Administration Building where the office of MTSU President Dr.Sidney A. McPhee is located.  This is where 2015 Citizens Campaign Against Big Lick Animal Cruelty representatives stood on August 28, 2015, and asked Dr. McPhee to sever all ties with Big Lick Animal Cruelty.

That day,  the representatives left almost 9,000 Petition signatures and comments with Dr. McPhee.

Now,  almost 11,000 people have signed the Petition asking MTSU President Dr. Sidney A. McPhee to sever all ties with Big Lick Animal Cruelty, and never allow another Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse on MTSU property.

The Citizens participating in the Campaign Against Big Lick Animal Cruelty are True Blue.

They have nothing,  but good will toward the Blue Raiders of MTSU (Middle Tennessee University, however,  just as strongly, these Citizens totally abhor the Culture of Big Lick Animal Cruelty which has permeated the MTSU Department of Agribusiness and Agriscience led by Director Dr. Warren Gill.

The Citizens are especially offended by the August 26, 2015,  MTSU Official Statement which said an “Outside Group or Organization” put on the 2013 “MTSU WALKING FOR EDUCATION HORSE SHOW”.

A www.billygoboy.com investigation led to the discovery that the MTSU Pre-Veterinary Medicine Society sponsored the 2012 MTSU Pre-Vet Society Horse Show and the 2013 MTSU Walking For Education Horse Show.

Shame on Dr. Warren Gill and all at MTSU and elsewhere who have led these Pre-Vet students down the wrong path where the “protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention of animal suffering” are concerned.

All of this Big Lick Animal Cruelty at MTSU has occurred on MTSU President Dr. Sidney A. McPhee’s watch.

It is past time for Dr. McPhee,  to emulate the leaders of the University of Tennessee and the University of Mississippi,   and now step forward and publicly sever ties with Big Lick Animal Cruelty, and never allow another Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse on MTSU property

Nephew Eugene thinks this Citizens Protest Against Big Lick Animal Cruelty will be the beginning of the end for the Big Lick Animal Cruelty at MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University).  He hopes that MTSU Sidelines News Editor Ms. Sarah Grace Taylor will attend the Protest,  and meet some of the Tennesseans who will be present to visit with the students about the Big Lick Animal Cruelty problem at MTSU.
