PANAMA CITY BEACH , FL (FRANK BROWN PARK) – An underwhelming first two nights are in the book for the multi-named “Big Lick” Horse Show at Frank Brown Park. According to Nephew Eugene, “It Don’t Look Good” for the Trainer BOYZ.
Martha “Sister” Milligan – Founder of Panama City Beach “Big Lick” Show
“The turn out is better than expected. It’s better than the last time we had …..absolutely …. absolutely.”
19 Total Classes – 73 Horses
- 15 “Big Lick” Classes – 54 Horses (3.6 Horse Average)
- 4 Non “Big Lick” Classes – 19 Horses (4.75 Horse Average)
21 Total Classes – 53 Horses
- 16 “Big Lick” Classes – 36 Horses (2.25 Horse Average)
- 5 Non “Big Lick” Classes – 17 Horses (3.4 Horse Average)
Nephew Eugene says it looks like the USDA’s cracking the whip on the Trainer Boyz .
At the last Trainers Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee, the BOYZ fired the Inspectors. You wouldn’t think they would go show out and do that again, but with the Trainer BOYZ, you never really know.
INSPECTION AREA – PANAMA CITY “BIG LICK” HORSE SHOW
Ms. Milligan did have one plus on Thursday night when her Trainer, Mr. Jamie B. Lawrence, won a 58 cent blue ribbon in the Two Year Old Mares & Geldings Class on “Jose’s Precious Dollar”.
This is the same Mr. Jamie B. Lawrence who was convicted by a Jury in Maury County, Tennessee, on February 2, 2016, for assaulting Ms. Teresa Bippen, President of FOSH (Friends of Sound Horses).
In two nights so far, there have been 31 “Big Lick” classes and Ms. Milligan has shown or owned horses in exhibited in 7 of the classes.
Meanwhile, the St. Andrew Baptist Church members are taking up tickets at the gate, and for their work, Ms. Milligan says they will apparently receive a $5,000.00 “charitable donation” a few months from now.
Another odd factor is there are several names presently being used for the horse show.
- Gulf Coast Charity Celebration
- Gulf Coast Trainers Show
- Panama City Beach “Big Lick” Trainers Show
Stay tuned for an interesting Saturday night.
