“Shortly before 6 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016, I was with three ladies and one man who were peacefully protesting animal cruelty to big lick Tennessee Walking Horses at Tunica Arena on Highway 61. We were there with the approval and knowledge of the Tunica Property Manager Mr. Steve Sosebee. A man driving a white Nissan truck Missouri tag # 4AR800 deliberately and with malice aimed and drove the truck directly at the three ladies, and myself and one other man, recklessly endangering our lives with a deadly weapon. I was in fear of my life. I called property management and Tunica County Sheriff who sent two deputies to investigate. They looked at the taped video and noticed the driver was making obscene middle finger gesture toward “us” while driving with one hand. Immediately after the incident ended I interviewed Mr. Mario Chiozza who was present and his statement was “A man acted like he was going to run us over and swerved within a few feet of us.” The statement was provided on November 4, 2016 and witnessed by Captain Barry Collins and signed by Clant M. Seay.”
